The amount of coins added will persist across both Greed and Greedier runs.The jam chance updates in real time, so even with a character that has never donated to the donation machine prior, the machine will most likely eventually jam given enough donations.The jam chance maxes out at 20% at 200 coins total in Greed mode, and 1% at 55 coins total in Greedier mode.
However, rather than a flat 5% chance, the chance increases the more money is put into the machine with a specific character.
